Notes: Recorded at Offbeat Studio, Leeds. The back insert lists a copyright date of 1990 for the recording, reinforcing my impression that this is not the version from the Slightly South of the Border ep. According to the liner notes, $1000 Wedding was written in the late 1960s after Gram's mother's marriage split up. The song was recorded by the Flying Burrito Brothers but rejected for Burrito Deluxe, their 1970 release. It later appeared on Gram's final LP, Grievous Angel.

Lineup: Tom Greenhalgh, Jon Langford, Brendan Croker, Rico Bell, Kenny Lite, and Steve "Lil' Willy" Goulding (Suzie and Sally were "mysteriously absent").
