Notes: Hey, there's no B side: "Fight the Cuts" is on side AA and was recorded in "the
basement of BOSSA NOVA ESTRADA Leeds December 1977" and restored by Ken Giles in August 1982. This version
of "This
Sporting Life", on side A, was recorded at Spaceward Studios, Cambridge, in April 1981. Both songs later
appeared on The Mekons Story; "This Sporting Life" also appeared on
UK and German 12" EPs of
the same name in 1981/82. Writing on inner
hub: "Support the hospital workers" and "We wuz robbed".
