Both
Lin and Dan have performed professionally for many years. Dan is an
accomplished guitar and bass musician who is from the San Francisco
area. Lin has been
a major female entertainer in
the Honolulu music scene for many years.
They met while working in a Latin Salsa band called
“Salsa Hawaii” in
Honolulu. After
leaving Salsa Hawaii, Diamond Cut was born. Dan and Lin continued to
perform in
Waikiki and welcomed opportunities to do conventions and private
parties. In
1997, they picked up stakes and moved to the Seattle, Washington area
to be
closer to family on this side of the Pacific. Here Dan and Lin continue
to
expand their musical horizons. They
have swung back to a MOR style of music and their repertoire includes
many hit
songs and jazz standards that introduced them to the music world. Dan
and Lin perform mostly as a duo, yet can expand to a larger band when
necessary. |
