Taken January 4, 2004 After picking up friends at the airport, Jerry went late to watch the Terps stomp the Mountaineers, 85-53. (No, the Mountaineers weren't from West Virginia, but from Mt. St. Mary.) Fear the Turtle! :) |
Taken January 5, 2004 We also took down the Christmas ornaments this week, including the beautiful Christmas swag that Danae made that has hung on our front door for a month! |

Taken January 5, 2004 Danae & Denise working out! 'Tis the season, right? ... No, actually Danae did this before the New Year's too. (This pic courtesy of our new cheap camera! :)) |
![]() Jerry played basketball a couple times this week to work out too ... but he was too sweaty to yield a decent picture! (O.K. so, we didn't have a camera ... but he really did exercise!) |

What happened this week ... This week was back to the normal routine for Danae, while Jerry still has a somewhat more relaxed schedule. Actually, its been busy for me (Jerry) somewhat because I've been trying to rework a paper that was not accepted at one conference (CHI 2005) to submit to another (IDC 2005). Our days were filled with work, and our evenings with having FHE, picking up friends from the airport, going to a UMD basketball game, having the missionaries for dinner, taking down and organizing Christmas decorations, working out, going out to eat at Potbelly's for date night, and having friends over for dinner and games. It's been a busy, but fun week. WARNING: This paragraph will be boring to non-Canasta players: We stayed up late Friday and Saturday nights playing our new game — Canasta. Friday we ventured into two player and Jerry scored a record 2680 points in one round, even though Danae made a great comeback to win the game! :) Saturday we taught some friends in our ward. Well, so you all know, we will be out of town next weekend, so the update for next week will be late, but I WILL keep up with my New Year's Resolution and post an entry as soon as possible. Hope you are all enjoying you're new year as much as we are!
Love,
