What happened this week ...

Back to the grind! Danae is back to work, and school and work have started back up for Jerry as well.

A lot happened in my research group while I was gone, so I had a bit of catching up to do, but I think I'm finally caught up. As for classes, they are getting off to a slow start, but the exciting thing is that this is my LAST SEMESTER OF CLASSES!!! (If you couldn't tell, I'm a little excited about that :).) Anyway, my classes should be pretty good. I'm taking an Information Visualization class by one of the leading researchers in the field and taking a Security class to fill my last requirement.

As for my lovely wife, Danae, as is no surprise to all who know her, is doing very well at work and keeps herself very busy. Friday she went on an outing with her friend Christine (Chris) and her daughter Jill. They went to the Textile Museum (to see an exhibit on paisley?!?!) in DC, and the National Cathedral. She also still puts up with me, which, as all who know me know, is not an easy task.

This past week we had the great opportunity to go with the missionaries in our area to a family they are teaching which lives just across the street from us. Ronnie, Ann Marie and their kids Rodney and Nicole are very such kind people. We had a very pleasant and spiritual visit with them. They plan on coming to church tomorrow, and then we have a joint outing planned to go see The Testaments at the Visitor's Center Monday evening.

Love,
Jerry & Danae

P.S. Due to the many pictures in the other postings, this one has none! Enjoy all the other pics!
