We went to Tidal Basin by the Jefferson Memorial to take in the cherry blossoms with our friends John and Ruth Puffett.

There are cherry trees (and blossoms this time of year) lining the Tidal Basin.

Danae surrounded by blossoms! Danae would like to add that the trees are NOT Washington D.C.Cherries. They are native to Japan, and sometimes invasive in the area. Still, its hard not to like them at this time of year.

That evening we went over to our friends Ryan and Christine Clary and had homemade pizza and played Canasta Caliente.

I drove Anthony and the missionaries (Elder Cole and Elder Dougal) to the Temple Visitor Center to watch The Testaments. Anthony has since been baptized and attends the University Park Singles' Ward.

What happened this week ...

We had a fun, but busy Friday meeting two different couples, going to Tidal Basin to see the cherry blossoms in the afternoon and meeting with the Clary's for homemade pizza and Canasta.
