The girls were excited to see Aunt Danae. Jessica and Emily waited inside and they both jumped and hugged Aunt Danae when they saw her come out of the conference room.

What happened this week ...
Amber visited came from Harvard to attend the Smithsonian Botanical Symposium. Danae & Amber enjoyed the well-catered and botanically enlightening event. Friday evening we also got a surprise phone call from Matt & Joanne letting us know they would be in town for the weekend. I got to spend some time with the Norths and Tony & Elena while Danae and Amber attended their conference. Joanne, the girls and I went to the Natural History, while poor Matt circled DC looking for a parking space. Since the conference was at the Natural History Museum and the North's wanted to go there, Joanne and the girls got to see Danae and Amber during the conference's lunch break.
