Mysteries, Angel of the Secret regions and Chief of the
Supreme Mysteries

- Antonio Gaudí Y Cornet
-
The architect Antonio Gaudí Y Cornet has been brought
back to life/restored to flesh/reincarnated by Akriasel
and set free upon the City of Lost Alleys and then given
a degree of power for some enigmatic purpose. Gaudi
seeks to continue his life's architectural work,
unleashing the remarkable range of forms, textures, and
polychromy and the free, expressive way in which these
elements of his art seem to be composed upon the City of
Lost Alleys. Gaudi is preoccupied by his work, which is
slow as he relies on local workers. The scope of his
work could, eventually, cause problems with the Power's
own plans.
- Allen Reed
-
Allen Reed is a 1920s pulp adventurer. He's a big
American man with a hearty, straightforward manner
and connections in practically every country on the
planet, from arms dealers in Zurich to Tantric cults
in British India. He is also one of Alec Hollenger's
anchors.
- Stephen Basset
-
Basset is the Chief Editor of the New York
Times. He was Merlin's boss in his human life,
and was anchored upon his ennoblement. Here's a link
to
Dan's writeup.
- Abraham Adisa Gyamif
-
Abraham Adisa Gyamfi is the master drummer of his
village in the Ashanti region of Ghana. In this
role, he is also one of the keepers of the oral
tradition of his people. He is a quasi-mystical
figure, with access to a huge amount of folk and
spirit lore. He draws power and wisdom from the
stories he knows, and has exhibited certain mystical
or sorcerous powers.
He is another of Merlin's anchors. See
Dan's writeup.
- Blake
-
Blake is a man-eating Bengal tiger that Nezha has
adopted. She plans on raising it to sentience and
giving it magical powers.
Creatures of Ineri, the Serpent of Progress
- Marianna, Duchess of Information
-
Marianna is a beautiful blonde woman who dresses in
Victorian clothing. Her design inlcudes sprigs of thyme
and the white-blossomed thorny stem of creeping cereus
entwined around tall, spike-like clusters of blossoms of
royal-purple Lupine.
We have not spoken with her in great detail yet.
- Malcolm, Duke of Confluence
-
Malcolm is a man usually dressed in the style of a
courtier from Renaissance Florence. His design consists
of a black circle outline (unaligned), with a green
field. A black open flower (wisdom) of four cross-shaped
petals (tranquility), crossing an open purple flower
(nobility) of five separate petals (remorse)
So far, he seems to be something of a party animal.
- Lucius Darin, Evolution's-regal
-
Lucius is dressed in an elegant pin-striped
double-breasted suit, a corsage of an open flower with
rainbow petals arranged in a spiral design (the flower
of Evolution), set on a silver stalk of alternate leaves

Creatures of Ram-Khvastra, the Inquisitor
- Ram-Khvastra, True God of Discomfort, Inquisitor of Earth
-
Ram-Khvastra is the True God of Discomfort. Brought
into existence during the birththroes of Earth, he
existed before humans even understood pain, and he
pre-dates forces of both Dark and Light. Over time
his Estates have expanded to include Coping and
Stalking through the actions of humanity.
From Ram-Khvastra Discomfort conveys both costs and
benefits. Discomfort can be the harbinger of
challenge, a spur to growth and innovation or a
warning that things are not well. It can also be a
distracting curse to blight those who offend him or
his chosen. Ram- Khvastra has been a patron of
ascetics, yogis, mountain priests, Celtic bards and
physicians but also of torturers, nags, shrews,
bullies, the sick, and fear-mongers.
Somewhat demanding and cruel, Ram-Khvastra is
nevertheless honorable. He does not treat with Hell
(although they have courted him many times), and
will not deal with Excrucians – he lost a major cult
some 100 years ago to Excrucian corruption. Recently
Ram-Khvastra was granted a position as Inquisitor
against the Excrucians replacing a slain
Inquisitor). He is now one of a Council of Four
Ymerae whose job it is to investigate the actions of
Excrucian Mimics on Earth. Inconsequence he began
enNobling Powers and creating a Chancel on Earth. To
this end he has appropriated the sage city of
Gandhara from the mountains of 4th Century Pakistan,
and turned it over to his Powers to make a suitably
grand citadel, fortress, place of inquisition,
reflection and study.

Creatures of Necropolis Tayarsen
- The Duke of Mausoleums
-
The apparently-nameless duke of Mausoleums appears as a
robed and cowled man, his face invisible in the dark of
his hood.
Creatures of Adalia, Shining Lord of the Sea
- Adalia
-
Adalia is the Inspiring Imperator who sank Atlantis
and claimed it as a Chancel. Adalia is a
Wildlord. Like some of his kind, he reasons that
freedom is a quality in the individual heart, and
not in one's circumstances. He wishes his Powers to
be free spirits, and yet he desires them utterly
bound to him. To ensure this, he has donned the
shining aspect of an Inspiring Imperator. He does
not have any great virtue or vice, as such things go
-- but those who encounter his Earthly form (even
Powers) generally fall in love at once.
- Casmir, Lord of Death by Drowning

Creatures of the Earth
- Theodore E. Franklin
-
Mr. Theodore E. Franklin, age 52, is a Wall Street
dealmaker, venture capitalist, financier and
lobbyist, trilingual, with extensive experience in
conceptualizing and incorporating worldwide
geopolitical and intelligence data into effective
strategic business initiatives. Throughout his
career, Mr. Franklin has worked on more than 600
transactions representing approximately $300 billion
in value and ranging in size from $5 million - $35
billion, and personally raised in excess of $60
billion in privately placed debt and equity
financing for more than 60 companies involved in
leveraged buyout, acquisition financing, growth
financing and corporate restructuring worldwide.
In addition to his professional work, Mr. Franklin
has been a business angel investor in a number of
ventures and an advisor and board member for
numerous entrepreneurial ventures, large and small.
Mr. Franklin holds an M.B.A in financial engineering
from the Haas School of Business at the University
of California Berkeley and a Bachelor of Science in
economics, Summa Cum Laude, from Harvard University.
That, at least, is the face he gives to the
public. Those who dwell in shadows and those of
miraculous nature know more about Teddy E
Franklin. Teddy is the spider-in-the-center of the
web. The chief member of the Cammorae in San
Francisco and an important member of the
organization world wide. There is little in the
areas of corruption and crime that he is not
intimately familiar with, and little that he does
not control.
Teddy E. Franklin is a corpulent man with a deep
raspy voice. He rarely leaves his mansion in Pacific
Heights, preferring to direct his transactions from
the symbolic center of his Empire.

began her teaching career as an assistant professor
at Temple University, was a tenured associate
professor at the University of Oregon as well as a
visiting professor at Harvard and Georgetown. She

issues. She participated in the U.S. Senate's
consideration of five Supreme Court nominees as well
as numerous lower federal court confirmation
proceedings. In 1988, she took a five month leave
from the Judiciary Committee to work for the Jackson

wide range of issues including Constitutional
equality, civil rights laws, presidential and
congressional powers, and education law, and has
taught law in Germany, Ghana, and Japan. In 2003
her activism caused her to resign her position at
the University California: Berkeley to dedicate
herself full-time to her work around mental health
for children, an area of interest which had grown in
importance to her personally and professionally
through the latter half of the 1990s.
