Like the Back of My Hand: It allows the user to gain an intimate knowledge of the surrounding area as if he played there as a child. With the penetration, all but well defended chancels or strong mystic places can divert this power. So far I have used it as a fiat to being lost instead of asking Jere the full lay of the land, I think it works better with his style.

Gatemaker (1 pt): This gift is tied to the Garden of Forking Paths. Thus it does not form gates through space only, but time as well. The primary effect of this gift is to allow Alec to use weaker artifacts to generate time portals for less miracle costs. It also allows for knowledge of any paths that open through the Garden as well. This may happen by another familiae's use or if that time is particularly important.

Worldwalker (2 pts): This gift combines with Like the Back of My Hand above to allow Alec understand the ways that other chancels and mystical ways connect to the rest of the world. While it does not expand the intimate knowledge aspect of LBMH it does expand the range of general familiarity to cover most of the Earth and related chancels. It also allows LBMH to be used outside of Earth. This is still limited by temporal travel; i.e. Alec would sense the pathways that exist at that time.

This is a limited version of summonable, that allows Alec to hear and acknowledge any request for assitance made to his name. This does not include requests made out of malice or lie. Only truthful requests for aid will bind him.

Background

Alec Hollenger has always been in the top of his class. Good at sports, studies, and can charm a smile out of a school marm. Then the War came. He excelled as always, but he learned, he lost, he grieved. He came out without a physical scratch, and even overcame the horrors of his memories, unlike so many others. Peace was not the answer for the War was just, he felt, but not for him. He longs for the old way of conflict, personal challenge, face to face, skill vs. skill. A romantized war. Is this what is in store for him?
