Nezha, the Power of Desire turns to creation. Turning her powerful mind (though a shadow of what it once was) to utilizing the strange sciences inherent in the Chancel, she constructs the Institute of Applied Onology and a palace. She proceeds to fill the palace with a strange assortment of scholars and scientists. Alec, Power of Brilliance, finds -- or creates -- a chess game with a mysterious opponent. It appears anywhere within the Chancel he could happen to look for it. Always appearing like it belonged there (Lesser creation of Realm). Alec is spending much of his time organizing sporting leagues for the City of Lost Alleys. (Lesser Change of Realm, Lesser Creation of Brilliance and utilizing Aspect Miracles) The Power of Loss will do a lesser preservation of Realm so that she can visit all the inhabitants of the chancel in a day and a night and apologize to them for their loss. In the process she will do an Aspect miracle to learn the name and face of each and every inhabitant. She finds 8-year-old orphaned child that she, through a strange series of appropriate events, makes her anchor. The boy has white hair and cobalt eyes, with a stark manner and shows some odd telepathic powers. Shortly after commencement, Merlin begins a ritual of telling stories to the public every morning as the chancel wakes. He first tells the stories he knows. Over the next days, he describes the fantastic arrival of one of each of the other powers in the chancel. Each of these stories lasts precisely one day; its beginning and conclusion is marked by the striking of a gigantic gong that echoes through the streets. Thereafter, Merlin continues to tell at least on story per morning. These stories range from a few words to day-long epics, and tell of the history of each part of the chancel, its relationship to its place of birth, and its relationship to the rest of its current home. Merlin also supervises the construction of his abode, which he also designs in his unique style (using a level 6 aspect miracle, for 4 mps). It is a gigantic library of gray stone that reminds viewers of the greatest of castles and cathedrals. The Warden of the City of Lost Alleys, Antonio Gaudí Y Cornet, is currently engrossed in constructing a large plaza/public space bordered by a series of construction of undisclosed purposes. This large public space is being built near the central Tower of Babel. This public space is an organic extension of the city, built utilizing materials drawn from many different places, some have never existed. The Semiotic Liberation League remains quiet, at least to the ears of the Nobles. |
