| Description |
This parcel of roughly 200 acres is made up of open fields, woods and
wetlands and is bounded by the Charles River, Route 27 and the Medfield
State Hospital. Two dirt fire roads provide access. One from Hospital
road parallels the railroad tracks and the other can be found on the
north side of Route 27 opposite the sign reading 'Medfield Charles River
Reservation'. This parcel contains the 'flying field' for model
airplanes and the cemetery of the Medfield State Hospital. Aerial View |

| Parking | Parking can be found on Hospital Road near the railroad tracks. Parking is also available in the turnoff area to 'old' Route 27 on the south side of Route 27 and along Route 27 near the canoe launch. |
