| Description |
The Rhododendrons Reservation's 196 acres are the
site of an important and rare stand of Rhododendron maximum,
the great laurel or rosebay rhododendron, one of only three species of
evergreen rhododendrons native to eastern North America.
A quarter-mile trail leads from Woodbridge
Street parking area to the stand of rhododendrons. Easy walking, though
wet underfoot. |

| Parking | A small parking lot (4 cars) can be found on the right immediately after turning onto Woodridge St. The trail enters the wood about 200 yards down Woodridge Street. |

| Notes | The rhododendron stand is protected by a 'deer fence'. There is a small entrance to the stand on the south side of the fence. |
