Our People from Kautz
First Schreiner Family in Kautz:
The FIRST SCHREINER (first name unknown) was a butcher of Lutheran Faith, from Zweibrucken, Einwilden? village, who died en route to Russia, prior to 20.07.1766, but his wife (Maria Anna ?, b. 1727) and two sons (Johann Heinrich b. 1751, and Conrad b. 1756) arrived in Bauer colony on 20.07.1766. This was interesting to find that the first Schreiner family did not originally go to Kautz, but went to Bauer first, and then moved to Kautz before 1788! Pleve did not document when they arrived in Oranienbaum, nor did he name the ship.
