Caveat

It should go without saying
that all thoughts expressed herein
are
mine
alone,
and do not necessarily reflect
those of my employers.

Bio

I'm a 23-year old Information Technology and Management Consultant with Princeton Consultants, Inc., based in Princeton, New Jersey. That's right, just down the street from Princeton University, from whence I graduated in 1994. I have worked here since March 1995, and I like it quite a bit.

Thanks to PCI for letting me have this page!

(As Yet) Unsorted Music Info

The next important thing is that I'm a slave to music, so to speak. I typically like the so-called "alternative" music scene, but don't let that fool you. I like Duran Duran and Quicksand, too.

Coming soon: a whole section of album and concert reviews.

Latest buys: Orange 9mm, Ruby, Banco de Gaia, Letters to Cleo, Medicine, and a whole bunch more (coming soon)!
Older buys: Tricky's Maxinquaye, Moby's Everything is Wrong, and Goldie's Timeless (import 2-CD set).

On the to-buy list: Mind Science of the Mind, and Velocity Girl's Guilded Stars and Zealous Hearts.

Still, my greatest music depth has got to be in the field of distortion guitar (what has come to be known as "lo-fi" these days). I'm also slightly partial to female singers, and "girl bands" in particular. I love Velocity Girl and Liz Phair, to name but a few.

In fact, I've written two short reviews of recent Velocity Girl shows I've attended. The first one has some interesting scanned items (no, none of them are nudie JPEGs).

Another guy who works here has put together a semi-un-official home page for the band Helium, which you should definitely check out if you dig their music.

Politics

For today's dose of politics, check out this piece against the sugar subsidy. Straight from the horse's mouth so to speak, this is the actual summary piece being passed around our beloved House of Representatives...

And now, catch the disheartening demise of the Sugar Bill...

Or take a jaunt over to the Political Discussion Group page. Follow along as a bunch of twentysomethings argue about the direction of the nation...

Miscellany

Go on, get a look at my
professional page...

Check out my links page if you must, but it's really here for my benefit. Still, if I can enjoy it, why can't you?

Here's a really cool tour of an abandoned Titan Missile silo...

Or check out firefly, what used to be known as HOMR, Helpful Online Music Recommendation Service, brought to you by those great people at the MIT Media Labs. Remember, it only works if lots of people participate. And they have!

A short demo for a friend of the family...

Rant

Read up on the Telecommunications Reform Bill, and where it stands today. This issue will not go away on its own. Take charge of your telecommuting self.

Community Service

My EMT card. Go ahead, volunteer!

Travel

Head off to San Francisco... I'll provide the Rice-a-Roni.
