Our council hosts a number of events and activities throughout the year, as well as making financial donations to worthy causes. Many of these events fulfill requirements for the Columbian Award and are listed below.

We are proud to support our Church and our parish communities, and Brother Knights regularly serve as Catachists, Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, Ushers, Greeters and as Parish Round Table representatives on our Tri-Parish Council. We stand ready to serve our Priest and parishes in any way. Council members also assist with observances such as the Stations of the Cross and the Easter Triduum during Lent, Advent celebrations, as well as the various celebrations and Feast Days of the Church calendar. Masses for our deceased Brother Knights are celebrated monthly. We also support Seminarians and Religious annually through the Refund Support Vocations Program sponsored by the Supreme Council.

New members are the key to any council earning the Father McGiveny Award and the Star Award. We know that bringing new members into a council can be a challenge, especially if your council does not have a first degree team, or this important ceremony is not held in your area regularly or often. Our council has an outstanding 1st degree team. We host this important ceremonial on the 4th thursday of every other month. This bi-monthly schedule begins in January and continues throughout the year. Our team is certified to use the newest form of this degree.

Area councils are encouraged to to build their membership by taking advantage of this opportunity.
