The origin of the Mark V can be traced back 90 years. In 1916, A.J. Morse and Sons, working along with the United States Navy, developed the early Mark V helmets. Morse supplied the Navy with helmets for use in World War I. Morse continued production of the helmet continuously up until World War II. In the second world war, Morse alone manufactured over 2,500 helmets for the war effort. Morse continued manufacturing these helmets up to the present. 

Helmets today are slightly modified, and are still fully functional. We sell them tinned with polished copper. Call or Email us for pricing...

The image to the right is the tinned Mark 5 helium helmet. This particular model is on display at the Gloucester Diving Heritage Museum owned and operated by Mr. Paul Harling In Gloucester, Massachusetts.
