For "U" from a vexing Wanderer among the Fields of Hex
The World According To Yi: World-Lines
There are 4 possible trigram sequences. One, as in the following Complementary-Pairs, is the 7-7-7 (with a 'hidden-4th' 7) of Complementary-yangyin-pairs (each pair's members converts the other's yang to yin and yin to yang, and their binary-#s in decimals adds up to 7: ie 1-6, 2-5, 3-4, 7-0); it starts with the Middle-Cross of acting Spirit, then draws a 'square' from water-to-fire ('feeling'-to-'thinking') on left 'side' (yang-to-yin) then right 'side' (Yin--to-yang), ending with the completed earth-sensing figure/ground (yang/yin).
A second is the Elementary-pairs Sequence (air 1-6; water 2-3; fire 4-5; earth 7-0).
A third is the Octave-Stages or Binary Sequence (yang-cycle: 1-2, 3-4; Yin cycle: 5-6, 7-0)

(A 5th is the week days: sun-mon-tues (sun-moon-mars) forming the Athena aHole; wed-thurs-fri (merc-jup-ven) forming the opposing Poseidon wPole, thus completing the CronoSaturday, GtYang-Figure / GtYin-Ground (Time-Bound-Creative-Integration / Receptive-ReLease Simul-Spontaneity).
A 6th is the yang and yin phase sequences within the yang-stages and yin-stages:
LunarArtemic--Liquid-Lava, MartialAretic-Volitile-volcanic-gas, MercurialHermetic- fiery-Mt; and Venus-Sea, Apollonic-Sun, Jovian-Sky; 2-1-4 3-5-6 7-0 (same as the Dual-Pairs Sequence, but with the order of the 3 yangs reversed).
Complementary-Pair Sequence:
1) Everything starts by drawing a 'line' to give us an 'Edge' or E-vector 001 through the earth (Mars-Ares Thunderjolt seismic SHOCK, earthy-yang-partial air, the 1st Di-vision), between Fiery Pluto-Hades Underworld (Mind Possession: Illumined-Independence) and Airy Uranus Overworld (Spirit Power: Intrepid-Understanding).

Crossing it, is the timeless precessionally opposite 'line' 110 (Jupiter Gentle OutSpreading Sky ae-yin-holistic air), connecting Watery Innerworld Neptune at the right (Soul Passion: Inductive-Wisdom) and Earthy Outerworld Saturn at left (Body-sensing Perception: 'Knowing'-Myth).
2) Next, connecting Hades below to Saturn at left creates Luna-Artemis 010 (yang-water Instinctive Abysmal Lava River gorge),
and Saturn at left to Uranus above creates the Solar-Apollo 101 (yin-fire Isolating-Insight ClearLight-Cleaving). This also creates the left pointing Athena aHole surFace triangle;
3) while connecting URanus above to Neptune at right creates Venus-Aphrodite 011 (ae-water Intimate-Intuition Joyful InGathering Sea) and completes the Persephone surFace wHole above, while connecting Hades below to Neptune at right creates Mercury-Hermes 100 (ea-fire Inhibiting-Intellect volcanic Mt. Keep), and completes the Vulcan surFace fHole pointing right as well as the final Geae eHole pointing to the bottom.
Note the progression of lines from the extreme-binary yang-yin pair 1 and 6 in center, through 2 and 5 at left (outlining aHole left behind), to the mid-binary pair 3 and 4 at right (outlining fHole right behind, and wHole above front, eHole below front), and all precessed earth/aether, ie: yang/yin, water-air-fire vector-pairs are precessionally opposite (eg: 'feeling' Moon-Venus; 'acting' Mars-Jupiter; 'thinking' Mercury-Sun).
Thus the Final creation of the Whole-system as the original and simplest possible stable volumetric structure is completed in 3 short steps as a visible Figure GreatYang 111 (Creative Time-binding 7) against an invisible Space-womb BackGround GtYin EArth 000 (Receptive ReLease 0), accounting for the 8 binary Trigrams, the mixed yang-yin Edge-vectors 1-2-3-4-5-6 composed from the Figure/Ground of GtYang7 and GtYin0.
Precessionally rotating the whole Tet-structure 90 degrees clockwise yields the Chrom-ArcheTet orientation:
Tracing the outer clockwise Planetary order of Earth-Air-Water-Fire Vertexes Saturn-Uranus-Neptune-Pluto outlines the 3 Edges of Sun-Venus-Mercury, the U-shape open to Lunar Lust, which is the Hex of Wanderlust, the Sun on the Mountain, Keeping Light 101100 (the Eye-Do above and outside the Pyramid-Tet, at the head of the page). Note: "planet" comes from the Gk planetai, wanderers. Note: the Yin-fire Sol-Do burning atop the yang-fire Mountain, is the symbol of Beltane, the Mid-Spring Festival, upon which appropriately enough this WebPage reached its climactic 13th Working Modification. The Tetrahedron within the Dodecahedron is the basis of the Time-Star (A 2-freq Tet has 5 tets, 4 little tets in 1 big Tet, with a Power-OcSpace in the center; and 20 Vertexes of 5 Tets match the 20 Vertexes of the Do).
Precessionally rotating the whole Tet-structure 90 degrees counter-clockwise and tracing the order down to the left counter-clockwise yields the Abstracting Order of Levels Of Abstraction, Uranus-Saturn-Pluto-Neptune; ie: Air-Earth-Fire-Water Vertex-Poles (which outlines the 3 Edges of Sun-Moon-Mercury, the U-shape on the ArcheTet that is open downward, pouring out Love, which is the Hex of Grace, or Light-Form 100101 (the Eye-Do within or below the Tet-Pyramid). The Tet represents a partial-yang radial-compressive E-vector on the ArcheTet and the oral-analytic Inhibiting Intellect (the Bright Head-mind and last Young-Adult Mastery Stage of the Yang-Cycle) or ego series of fragmenting 'little-i's that are goal oriented and time-bound. The Do represents a yin-wholistic timeless Big-'I' Body-Mind of Clear-Light (Isolating Insight), the first Whole Personal-Planetary Stage of the Yin Cycle. A 4-freq Tet has 20 upright tets with a 12-radial Cuboc (Divergent Lust) in the center. When the Cuboc twists inward (jitterbugs) it forms an Icosa (Convergent Love) whose E-vectors precess to form its Dual, a Do of Light, or the 'I' at the center of the hierarchical Tet, ie: the Eye in the Pyramid!
Thus the Abstracting Order is:
Volitional Unmanifest Process-level of 'Spirit'-Acting Power
Physical Manifestation Object-level of 'Body'-Sensing Perception
Mental-Symbolic Verbal Descriptive-level of 'Mind'-Thinking Possession
Emotional Inferential Value-Judgement levels of 'Soul-Feeling' Passion , continuing the cycle around to infinite process level, etc.

Yang-vs-Yin Edges & Vertexes
The Chrom-ArcheTet Has 3 (w-a-f feeling-acting-thinking) 'push-apart' yang-partial E-vectors divergent from 1 yang-Vertex (the fPole tripod of Pluto-Hades UnderWorld Mind), and 3 (W-F-A Feeling-Thinking-Acting) 'pull-together' Yin-wholistic E-vectors cyclo-convergent around 3 Yin-Vertexes (ePole Crono-Saturn; aPole Uranus; wPole Neptune-Poseidon).
The Yin Vertexes are each Vortex-interchange-field foci for 1 yang-push-apart and 2 Yin-pull-together E-vector-forces (a yang-push E-vector represents a Yin-pull from the point of view of the Vertex-joint, and a Yin-pull E-vector represents a yang-Push from the viewpoint of the Vertex). Thus, the 3 Yin-vertexes are each made up of yin-yang-yin E-vectors (trigram of 010 Lunar Abyss), which when the surFace triangle Hole they form is completed, become from the viewpoint of the Vertexes, yang-yin-yang 101, the Yin-fire trigram of the Solar Cleaving Clear-LightBody's Embracing Lucidity. Together, these make the hexagram of Lunar-Abyss below the Solar-Cleaving 101010, which is the hexagram of Soon-complete, which is the OverWorld aVortex of Uppermost Uranus, opposite the eHole of its mate Geae 010101, the Full Uttermost Enfolding Mother, and which is also connected to UnderWorld Hades by the yang-air E-vector of Mars.
The Hades UnderWorld fPole Yang-Vertex has 3 yang-Edge-vectors (representing 3 yin-vectors from the viewpoint of the completed Vertex); 3 yangs below 3 Yins 000111 is the Hexagram for Hades Melding, or Conjunction (opposite the wHole Yin-surFace of Dark Persephone, the Daughter, or Disjunctive Parting, which is 3 Yins below 3 yangs 111000) .
Note the ArcheTet itself has 1 yang Vertex (Hades fPole), 3 Yin Vertexes (Saturn, Uranus, Neptune), whereas the structures related to the Vertexes have the same ratio, but with yang/yin reversed: 1 Yin (Poseidon wPole R30), 3 yang(fTet, eRdo, aT24).
The East-West horizontal involves the 4 main trigram-symbols of Heaven-Earth and Sun-Moon; eg: the Pole-Hole pairing hexs of melding-parting (Hades-Persephone) and Soon-Full (Uranus-Geae).
The North-South vertical axis involves the remaining trigram-symbols of Thunder-Sky and Sea-Mountain; eg: the Pole-Hole pairing hexs of Unfolding Increase (eCronoSaturn) with Lasting Endurance (fVulcan), and Wooing Influence (wNeptune) with Cutting-amassing (aka Ethereally Lessening, the Warrior Goddess aAthena).
The surFace-Hole triangles
The 4 surFace Holes are all yin; the Persephone wHole opposite the Hades fPole is the defining feminine yin, framed by 3 Yin E-vectors. The Geae eHole, Athena aHole and Vulcan fHole are all framed by 2-yang and 1-yin, and thus are also Yin-Holes.
Each element-Hole triangle is a trine of the 3 angle-signs of that element, Cardinal-Fixed-Mutable. Thus each sign is formed by 2 E-vectors, which represent the 2 corresponding places of the 6 hex-places, thus determining 12 hexagrams with 2-yanglines, and 12 hexagrams with 2-yinlines: 12 zodiacal signs + 12 of their ruling planetary signs = 24 hexagrams.
