Varsity Coaching Staff
JIM LAMB--HEAD
VARSITY COACH
Coach Lamb starts his eleventh year as head coach after taking over shortly
after the start of the 1995 season. He was selected as the U.S.Lacrosse Coach of the Year in 1997 and 2000.
PAUL SINGLE--VARSITY
OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR
Coach Single starts his first year on the Rams staff. Paul was a three
year varsity letterman for the Rams from 1999-2001. He earned
post-season Honors in both his junior and senior years. The Rams were
37-19 during his varsity career.
SCOTT BENTKOWSKI--VARSITY
DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR
Coach Bentkowski starts his sixth year on the Rams staff. Two of
Coach Bentkowski's keepers have earned first team honors. Scott was an
All-Metro Performer for the North Harford Hawks in 1983. He later starred
for Salisbury State College, earning All-American Honors twice.

FRED MYERS--HEAD
JUNIOR VARSITY COACH
Coach Myers has
been on the Edgewood
lacrosse staff for 11 years and will be starting his 7th year directing the
Junior Varsity Program. Coach Myers was a standout athlete at John Carroll
where he excelled at football (All-Metro, McCormick Unsung Hero) and
lacrosse. For 17 years Coach Myers was the Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Kenwood
High School. During this time he was twice named coach of the year.
JOHN SKOKOWSKI--ASSISTANT
JUNIOR VARSITY HEAD COACH
“Coach
John”, as he is affectionately known, has been a valuable member of the
Edgewood staff for 12 years. He has served as a varsity defensive
coordinator, JV head coach and JV assistant during his time at Edgewood.
Coach Skokowski is
one of the true Pennsylvania high school sports legends, having excelled at
both wrestling and football.
JOHN WALLACE--ASSISTANT
JUNIOR VARSITY HEAD COACH
Coach Wallace joined
the staff in 2002 after retiring from the military. He lettered 13 times in
high school and 4 times in college. Wallace has coached for 15 years at
various levels. He has coached teams to county championships in soccer,
wrestling, and football.
