In this world there is many different people. And these different people call for varied teaching methods. In this program we will motivate the visual learners. Through movies and outside readings we will study the journey of the hero in our movies. The journey of the hero is a tale told a million times for a million years. It changes for the time period and culture it is addressing at the moment, but the core components never change. It is the tale of the youth who starts out as a fool leaving the world of the mother for that of society and the father. Through the journey of the wasteland the hero will refuse the call to only embark later, find his mentors, cross the threshold, overcome and face his faults, find a healthy mate, confront the father, aspire for his goals, give himself up to a higher power, attain his goals, and return to benefit his comunity, family, and nation. Strip away the sound, sets, lighting, and special effects these tales are only about Jethro's journey to the pursuit of happiness as a self supporting benifical member of society. But through his own happiness in him self.

Our movies are for all ages, for it does not matter if you are 12 or 60. Some never took the journey to find themselves. You might find yourself in your personal confinements, no matter how rich, poor, or successful you find yourself. When wealth, power, and position have left you empty these movies were made to help you get back on track by learning how to understand yourself. To finally find your true self.

These movies unfold like an onion with many layers of meanings. They will help you cross the ocean, water barrier between your skull and brain, to enter the castle or forest of your mind. Here these movies take you through your imagination to meet the various parts of yourself described by Jungian analysts, fairy Tales, and mythology. They will teach you to analyze yourself, your parenst, childhood, and your world in which you find yourself in and how you got there. They will also show you the road to save yourself or your children.

There will be an initial hour and half lecture on the basics to understand the symbols and events through our movie series. Followed by that there will be three more movies with a half hour introduction. These lectures will be two and half hours long. After each movie the students are asked to write an essay on subjects covered by the movie and how they relate to them to be discussed before each movie.
