Welcome to my team card wantlist. The main focus of this page is to collect a set of Topps team cards from 1956 - present. Topps produced team cards from 1956 through 1981 and started again in 2001 after a 20-year hiatus. I get a lot of help from my friends in OBC, a group of guys that collect cards for the love of collecting. Of course eBay supplies a lot of my needs, as well as infrequent card shows. Condition of any card issued prior to 1980 isn't that important, as long as it can be recognized as once having been a baseball card. This can include any that were used to make your bike sound like a Harley, cards edited with a pen, pencil or crayon, and cards otherwise enhanced with things like sandpaper, water, glue, drills, hole punches or darts. Cards with rips, creases, missing pieces and tape damage also qualify. Want a laugh? Read the Guru's card grading guide, found here. It pretty much sums up what true card collecting is all about. As for cards issued after 1980, since they can usually be found in great condition, I would prefer them to be as close to mint as possible.
