During the year, the chapter chaplain should prepare a devotional to submit to the National Chaplain. More than one is acceptable. See the guidelines listed below. In addition include information according to the following checklist. Place one copy in a folder to pass to the next chaplain of your chapter. Send one copy to the National Chaplain and one copy to your Province President. See the website (www.delta-omicron.org) for the email address of the National Chaplain. The devotional must be submitted on or before May 15.

Devotional Guidelines

· The devotional should be inspiring and motivational.

· The devotional must have a title.

· The devotional must be categorized under one of the categories in the current devotional book.

· The devotional must be grammatically correct and free from spelling errors.

· The devotional must not be gender specific (i.e., avoid using “sisterhood,” etc.).

· The devotional must be ecumenical with respect to religious references.
