I was having so much fun building the fuselage that I didn't take any pictures until I was almost done. This is a snap of the bench showing the fuselage side sketched on top. The blocks of wood on the back of the bench have a 5/8" slot in them and were used to hold the tubing in place while it was being tacked together, ala Harry Watson. The blocks hold the tubes off of the bench making them easier to tack and imperfections in the bench can easily be corrected by placing shims under the blocks. (all blocks have been removed except for the top longeron).
Looking down the front of the fuselage.
