Welcome to the Mud Man Pots site. Thanks for taking the time to visit. I encourage your comments on the site, and more importantly, on the pots that you see.

A bit of explanation may be in order regarding the name Mud Man Pots. In the world of pottery, those of us that enjoy the craft can be loosely divided into Mud Men and Fire Men. Mud Men particularly enjoy the act of throwing the pots. Fire Men are more interested in the magic of glazing and firing. Of course, each potter must come to terms with achieving a balance of both camps in order to produce enjoyable pots. I profess to enjoying the throwing of pots much more than the challenges of firing the pots.
