Sustainable Development

DonMar offers a wide variety of green options from bamboo flooring to recycled glass countertops.  All of our homes are effectively more than 15% more efficient than homes built in 2004.  This means saving money on energy all while helping the environment.

At DonMar we believe in responsible development.  This means taking every step possible in helping the preservation of our Earth.  Our Green options and standard options help to do so by recycling, reducing waste and pollution, saving energy, and protecting our natural resources.  We take an approach unique to building that minimizes our environmental impact.

All of our homes are Energy Star Certified and come pre-wired for roof-top solar panels.  The sheetrock is made from 100% recycled material and our woodwork and cabinetry are made from wood certified by The Forest Stewardship Council.  As well as our sheetrock and cabinetry our carpet and padding materials are also made from 100% recycled material.  Paints are certified low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) paints which are better for the environment and the people living in the home.
