Mother Goose Early Childhood Program
The State Pre-kindergarten provides early childhood education to qualified children between the ages of three (3) through five (5). Children must be three (3) on or before September 1st or five (5) after September 1st of present year. The program provides meals, field trips and a developmentally stimulating curriculum to prepare children for kindergarten. The program also provides a Bachelor Degreed (04)certified teacher.
In addition, all children will be offered vision, hearing, and developmental screenings. Upon findings of any impairments and/or developmental delays, Staff will work with parents in contacting and utilizing local schools and agencies to meet the child’s individual needs.
This is a collaborative program between the State of Illinois and Mother Goose Learning Center. Children will receive a full array if services and facility the facility will operate Monday through Friday.
Every child is expected to attend each scheduled school day unless he/she is sick or family emergency. Please call if your child will be absent.
The educational program is based on regular participation by all children. Attendance problems should be discussed with the Director.
Irregular attendance or 15 consecutive days of absence will cause us to re-elevate your need for the program, so that other children may have the opportunity to attend school.
DISCHARGE AND TERMINATION
Children may be discharged from the program if parents no longer meet the qualifications, voluntary withdrawal, a pattern of irregular attendance has been determined or 15 days without justification, and/or lack of payment.
