Don was born in Chicago, IL USA on November 17, 1957 and moved to Richmond, Virginia with Cynde Liffick in 1983.
Don works at the law firm of McGuireWoods in the Software Development Department.  Don started
The Richmond Songwriter Series and now books concerts at Gravity Lounge.  Don is proud to be a drop-out from 
Illinois State University.

Cynde was born in Dayton, OH USA on October 11, 1954 and moved to Richmond, Virginia with Don Semmens in 1983.
Cynde attended  Transylvania University.  She received her masters degree in biology from Illinois State University.
Cynde is currently Managing Director of The Richmond Shakespeare Festival.
