| I launched the boat Labor Day 1967 at Los
Alamttos Harbor, Long Beach Ca these pictures were taken
in late summer. A Yamaha 40 H.P. at 5500 produces a speed
28 and 20 M.P.H. at 4500. The bare bone weight is 800
poundsl. Ready to fish around 1200 lbs.Purchased plans
from George Calkins, designer in1964. It took me two
years to build at night and on the week ends. The
plywood, marine, was $103.00 . Total cost $800.00 .
"In 1965". This year I have been out on the
ocean 56 times.The engine, a four stroke, uses very
little fuel from 2 1/2 to 4 gal. per trip. I will send
