Here's a photo of my newest dory, (also named "Playin' Hooky".  This is the first of the Typhoon Class dorys, ( from Hunt for Red October)  ;-).  She was built to be dropped off a 3 story building, ( I did it off a 2 story wave last summer).  She's 19'6" long,  8'6" at the beam, 6'3" bottom. Powered by an 88 Special by Johnson and has a 30 hp Mariner kicker.  When new, her top speed was 42 mph but the 88 is getting tired now it's around 35 mph. I want to put a 130 Honda on her but Honda is very proud of that motor ($10,000).  This photo was taken by Rus Smith on It'll Toot Too.  Captain Hook.

Ian Carter's dory, "Gray's Legacy" that he restored.  It is a classic example of one of the first square sterns.  It was build in the early 60's.Thanks to William "Captain" Hook for submitting the above awesome pictures!

Dave Large's catches of a blue shark and a 42 lb. king salmon offshore of the Oregon coast on the f/v Ramrod.

John Mitchell's lapstrake dory moored in beautiful Victoria, BC.

Here's a photo of Bernie Gilliland who used to charter out of PC and commercial fished the dory "Hobo" with a 75 lb. halibut he caught with his friend, Jerry Johnson, who owns the dory in the photo named J.J. last summer.
