A very windy afternoon on the ocean between Florence, Oregon and Heceta Head. A lot of big chinook action was taking place.

Just when you thought it was safe to rinse your fish off by hand over the side of the boat. Actually a blue shark got to this coho salmon before we did.

Shows a 70 pd. halibut I caught with Mike Dixon and Kenny Rosenbalm again in Kennys dory Warrior Pride this past summer out of Pacific City.

This was a fall chinook caught by Mike Dixon fishing out of Kenny Rosenbalms dory Warrior Pride Summer of 2002. I snapped the photo of Mike with Cascade Head in the background.
