Host of Nickelodeon's Original Double Dare, Super Sloppy Double Dare,
Family Double Dare, and What Would You Do?

Back in 1986, no one had any idea what kind of phenomenon
Double Dare would become...especially not it's one-of-a-kind
host, Marc Summers.

This morning, Marc made an appearance on the #1 radio morning
show at 93.1 WPOC in Baltimore, MD. He spoke with the show's
host Laurie DeYoung about
Double Dare, his life with
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and his brand-new game
show on The History Channel,
History IQ.

Marc really is a great guy - and he even quizzes our morning
show about their knowledge of history.

Without Marc Summers as host, Double Dare wouldn't
have been nearly as successful as it was - a true rarity in the
television world.

Even though Double Dare ended it's first-run episodes on
Nickelodeon back in 1994, it's been on TV in some form of reruns
at one time or another (on Nick, or Nick GAS) for 14 years now.
