Awards
Recent honors
include the following:
| Kaitlin
won the coveted "Gypsy Robe Award" at Presentation
High School for her role as "Bernadette" (the
rehearsal pianist) in the Fall 2003 production of 42nd
Street. The robe is given to the chorus member who works
hardest to bring her part to life. Recipients sew something
on the robe that is symbolic of the show and their role,
and pass it down to next year's winner. |

Karin
displays a Sonoma State pennant in a video she created
to apply for a community service scholarship from Philips
Semiconductors (Doug's employer). She was one of two students
who was awarded with a new laptop computer in recognition
of her involvement in the community. |

As a
result of Karin's being honored by judges from American
Musical Theatre of San Jose for her role as the Lion in
Wizard of Oz, photographer Paul Tumason took this portrait
to hang in the downtown Center for Performing Arts with
those of other high school honorees. |
