Doug has considerable experience working for both acquiring and acquired companies. After VLSI was taken over by Philips, he won acclaim for creating a popular "Merger Central" website to keep employees informed.

Later, he teamed up with Human Resources colleagues to document the company's M&A best practices for a Quality Improvement Competition. Doug created all the PowerPoint slides for the presentation, titled "Merge Right."
