Stereo Views

Borders around images are metallic gold but scanned darker.

"69 View in St Omers"

"107" Otherwise unmarked - View of Fontaine des Innocents from roof of St. Eustache showing small shops that predated building of Les Halles. The sequential image stereo is mirror image and may be copied from a daguerreotype pair?

"175" Otherwise unmarked - St. Cloud

"254" Otherwise unmarked - Still life includes a bracelet of Roman antoniniani (Postumus?) possibly being the oldest photo of ancient coins???

Backs of the four views are blank except for what is shown in this image. View 254 is about 1/4" more narrow than the others and its images more fully fill the gold frames. These four views were part of a small collection purchased in the 1970's with many from the 1850's and no view newer than c.1870. Each view bore the number on the back as on these views despite their being by several publishers. I assume that this number was added by the original owner of the views and is not significant to identifying the images themselves. Is the title on view 69 in the same hand as the number?

Any information about these views would be appreciated.
