Cedar Crossing Bridge
Oregon’s newest covered bridge is not a “true” covered bridge because it is not supported with a wooden truss. The bridge, built in 1982, is a sixty foot concrete span covered with a wooden roof. Don Clark, former Multnomah County Executive, argued for a covered bridge in his county to represent Oregon’s tradition of roofed river crossings.
Take Foster Road east from Interstate 205 to 134th Street. Turn right and continue 1/2 mile to the bridge.
