My name is Teresa and I live in Citrus Heights, California. I became the proud owner of "Gidget", a gorgeous Chocolate, and her playmate Angel, a fawn and white, on May 13, 2005. This was the luckiest Friday the thirteenth I have ever had!

Susy (www.susyschihuahuas.com) is the nicest person I have met in the dog breeding hobby. She is willing to work with you to make sure you have the puppy that is just right! If she doesn't have the puppy you are looking for she will send you to one of her friends that might have that special puppy just for you. She is the person I was able to purchase Gidget from!

Angel was "Heaven Sent" as she was just what I was looking for. Jennifer is Susy's friend that had just the little girl I wanted. When I told Susy that I was looking for a playmate for Gidget she gave me Jennifer's web address (www.kingschihuahuas.com) and it was magic! I was able to get both girls shipped the same day and they made me the happiest I have been in quite a while!

Susy was also able to get me the wonderful boy "Wizard" as our stud. He is from wonderful bloodlines and has just the look I was hoping to find for our little family. He has a super head and beautiful markings. Both his parents are close to 5 pounds and most of their litters run 3.5-5.5 pounds as adults. Wizard loves to play fetch and even sleeps on my pillow with the girls close by.

Bessie is from Mississippi and I was lucky to find her on a website of a local breeder. Jennifer of WartenasChihuahuas.com places Annes puppies on her own page listed as "More Puppies". I was fortunate enough to see Bessie right after she was born. Just a tiny smudge of black and white and I just had to have her! As I write this she has not arrived as she is just 2-3 weeks old! Please check out jenny's website if you want any clothing accessory for your dog! She has more than most pet shops!

We have a small breeding program with only four dogs. I want to be able to give them tons of attention and love. They all run the house and give us as much attention as we give them. We do not allow them to roam out of doors without a fence or a leash, as they are too precious to risk their health or lives that way. We screen all applicants for puppies to assure they go to a good home.

I have loved Chihuahuas all my life! My grandmother got her first Chihuahua when my mother was just a teenager! "Poco" lived until I was in my teens. My mother also owned Chihuahuas: Taco Bell, and Frito Bandito, who was my favorite. He learned all my secretes and followed me everywhere. Angel is very much like the Chihuahua my grandmother owned and Gidget looks like Taco Bell! They are both very close to standard (http://www.akc.org/breeds/chihuahua/index.cfm)according to the AKC defination.

If you are looking for a "teacup" Chihuahua you are out of luck. These do not exsist as a breed, they are just smaller sized Chihuahuas. They come with many health risks and are easily injured due to their tiny size.
