BEGINNERS CLASS (2-3 hours):

• Course Description: This class is designed for those who want to improve their kayaking skills and techniques. We teach kayaking safety; nomenclature and boat design; how to enter and exit a kayak; correct paddle grip; the wet exit; and basic strokes, including the sweep, touring, power, reverse, and rudder stokes.
• Training Location (your place or ours): Regular instruction given in Great Bay on the Lamprey River in Newmarket, NH. Alternative locations may be chosen at the customer's request.
• Cost: $42 per person, private lessons $62 per person

INTERMEDIATE CLASS (2-3 hours):

• Course Description: A second helping of basic kayaking skills, featuring more advanced concepts such as braces; draw strokes; the J-Lean and hip snap; and several rescue techniques including the basic t-rescue, Eskimo, paddle float, and stirrup rescues.
• Training Location (your place or ours): Regular instruction given in Great Bay on the Lamprey River in Newmarket, NH. Alternative locations may be chosen at the customer's request.

ROLL CLINIC (two, 2-3 hour sessions):

• Course Description: How to right your kayak without having to exit the boat. The roll is the safest kayak self-rescue, and a guaranteed confidence builder! Imagine the possibilities. ‘No more’ than 3 people per instructor. $87 per person, includes both sessions.

ADVANCED SURF ZONE CLASS (2-3 hours):

• Course Description: For more experienced kayakers who have already completed either our Beginner or Intermediate Class, we head out to York Beach in Southern ME and teach you strategies and techniques for safe surf launches and landings, as well as surf zone paddling strategies. *Weather permitting. $42 per person, private lessons $62 per person
• Training Location (your place or ours): Regular instruction given along the Portsmouth, New Hampshire coastline. Alternative locations may be chosen at the customer's request.
