A fan wrote in to tell Gillian and David that there was an interesting report on television the other day (I am assuming it was Australian TV).  It was a report about deaf children and adults.  The reporter asked one woman how she can "hear" or experience music.  She answered that she cannot hear at all, but she had "felt" music with extraordinary intensity when she was at a concert of the "Australian pianist David Helfgott" in Berlin earlier this year!
