- MICHAEL NEFF - Drums/Background Vocals

Mike has been drumming since he was 3 years old. His earliest “live-crowd” performance behind the drums was in 6^th grade! He also performed with the MRHS drama Pit Band in 7^th grade and has played in several rock bands since that time. When he entered high school, he began to teach himself how to play guitar. He stepped out from behind the drums for the first time with the band “More than Postal” as guitarist and lead singer. Joining Drive as a drummer in 2001, he connected with good his friends Guitarist Doug and bass-player Mike. When their lead singer Chris Pinella left the group, Mike suggested his older brother Tom as a replacement. The four connected almost immediately and DRIVE really began to rock!
