Stories Assignment

Think of a software project you would like to implement during this class. Write some stories to describe what it should do.

How many do I need?

• A little more than you think you can finish (implement) in this semester
• About 12 user stories plus or minus 2 is  ... OK for this class

What form should the stories be in?

An ms word document with.

1. Your first name at the top of the page (centered).
2.  "CEN5075 Stories" next on the page (centered).
3. A descriptive name (3-5 words) for your project on the next line. (centered)
4. A good name(3-5 words) for each story.
5. Each story in a single paragraph of 2-4 sentences, just below the name.
6. The story names numbered: 1, 2, ...

Goals and Grading Points

(not in order of importance)

• Follow the required document form.
• Follow the advice about stories as well as possible.
• Describe an interesting or  useful (to you) software product that can be completed in about 1 semester.
• Describe it clearly so others will know what you want.
• Be non-technical - unless describing a technical project.
