Interpreting
God's Beautiful Creation in Watercolors
I didn't feel my website would be complete without acknowledging all
those people who have supported, encouraged and helped me.
It's easy as an artist to become discouraged and doubt yourself and
your work. Without them, it would have been much more
difficult to keep growing and taking chances as an artist.
First of all, I wish to give profound heartfelt thanks to God.
I had always loved art but had no idea I could paint myself until I
was in my mid-forties. He knew that this gift would mean a
great deal to me.
I would like to thank my friend, Jay Baggett, who designed this
website. Thank you to the staff at the Georgia Psychological Association
(especially Cyd and Ellen) who have allowed me to hang my paintings
in their offices since May 2004 and have been a constant source of
encouragement to me.
Brenda, you were my first "patron". Your unceasing
encouragement, support and friendship have been invaluable. I
am incredibly grateful for your presence in my life.
Kiva, your encouragement, support and kindness have meant a great
deal to me. Steve, thank you for putting together my first
website and for all your help and kindness. And Sterling,
without your instruction, mentoring and encouragement I don't know
where I'd be as an artist.
Thank you, too, to all the folks at the Atlanta Artists Center who
have been so kind and supportive, especially Constance Falconer, Suzanne Morris, Elsie Dresch, and Liefy Smith.
And last, but not least, thank you to my parents, who have been my
most enthusiastic fans.
