Currently, I'm satisfied with the fullness and the feeling that I don't need
to wear a padded bra. I suppose I have gained '100 cc' because I no longer
wear those little '100cc' pads in my bras. But, that assumes that I won't
have ANY shrinkage once I stop wearing the domes all together. Would I
have been satisfied after 10 weeks - NO WAY. Would I have been satisified after
14 weeks - probably not. Because it wasn't until after 15 weeks that I felt
I was really retaining breast fullness at the top after a work day of not wearing
the domes. At 22 weeks a friend did comment out of the blue that my breasts
are bigger.
Would I do it again? Not for $2500. $1250 is too much profit margin for a doctor
to dispense the domes. The doctor gives little medical treatment. The
medical treatment I received was for skin problems that should not have occurred
in the first place if tips like 'panty liners, etc.' had been given written into
the BRAVA Instruction manual. Service: they were not well trained in what they
were supposed to do pre-BRAVA, and they learned as we went, especially that BRAVA
was not very service oriented. But the doctor's office stood behind the equipment
and took care of the warranty issues with BRAVA.
Would I consider breast implants? My biggest concern with an implant is having an
elective foreign object in my body. Taking a risk for a replacement knee is
one thing, but taking a risk for a bag of saline is another.
Further comments: I had a terrible welt that left a scar even after medical treatment.
The company should have had a better idea of how to deal with skin problems and side
effects before putting this product on the market. Customer service is clueless. The
techinal side (phase lights, graphs, etc.) were unreliable and BRAVA knew it but
chose not to fix them. Information is not being rapidly disclosed to all patients/doctors.
BRAVA and/or the doctor should have sent out emails or snail mail notifying us of
new cleaning procedures, new treatment time frames, etc. |
