Description of wear data   Swelling and retention surged in weeks 1-5 (swelling 2.5" in morning, retention 1.25 inches at night). There was a drop and plateau until week 7, when it started climbing again. There was another surge from week 8 to week 10 (swelling 3.5" in morning, retention 2" at night). Another small drop, and then a surge at week 14 (swelling 4.5" in morning, retention almost 2.5" at night). Then a huge plummet down to week 12 levels, both swelling and retention.

Health problems   I suffered a severe backache at night for about four weeks. I had a rash every day upon removing the system which never completely went away. I had lesions near my armpits where the domes chafed me severely, but they have healed with much care. My skin is discolored under my breasts where the domes sat.

Equipment problems   Domes began to lose their stickiness in the first ten weeks, but despite much of the sticky coating being gone on the sides, they still seemed to work. Smartbox developed a crack in the stem which I noticed after the warranty period was up, repaired it by wrapping it with kevlar thread. Smartbox didn't upload data correctly beginning Day 32, ceased to upload after Day 46. Smartbox died at exactly week 20, so I quit. Brava wouldn't repair it. Quitting was the best thing I ever did.

Comments   I feel fortunate compared to many women that I had any growth at all. I feel disappointed that I didn't have the kind of growth I had hoped for. It took me much longer than 10 weeks to get much less than 100cc. I had hoped to get 100cc+, and that is why I had used the system so intensively. I would strongly caution thin, active women with little body fat against trying this device.

I am also very disapointed with Brava's customer service. Back when my system was under warranty, the Smartbox stopped uploading data for me and my domes lost their stickiness. Brava did not return my calls on these issues. As I was still swelling at the time, I didn't complain. (I was afraid of stopping to return the Smartbox, I didn't know I could get a loaner.) I wish I had called them persistently until they had answered my concerns to my satisfaction.

A few months after quitting the device, I got a stomach bug and dehydrated. I lost a half inch of my Brava gain permanently at that time.
