October ~ 2001 Pilgrimage
Nine of us (M/D/B/S/M/K/C/W/J) rented a van and made the pilgrimage together. The weather was
cool and sunny, a perfect day. This was preparation for a
fire puja I will perform next week to
awaken a Buddha statue K bought and to consecrate the earth where Buddha will sit.
Prayer flags overlooking the pond.
Someone placed this Buddha and built a Stupa on the stairs of the old temple.

Construction Progress on the New Temple
The outside of the new temple...much progress has been made since my last visit.
An altar dedicated to the lives lost during the WTC collapse. I lit incense and
chanted NA MU MYO HO REN GE KYO.
I stood inside the new temple for the first time and looked out. D played a flute he
crafted to generate energy
and good karma for both the new temple and the flute which I will
use as a music offering during the fire puja.
Looking up at the roof from inside the new temple.
Looking out the front windows of the new temple towards the Peace Pagoda.
The view of the Peace Pagoda from inside the front window of the new temple.
