James (Jimmy) Fossberg

1967-2004

Born Nov. 3, 1967, in Grants, N.M., he was the son of Sue Menning and Terry Fossberg. He was raised and received his early education in Grants. He attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, N.M. before moving to Casper in January of 1996. In Casper, he began his career in drilling.

On Valentine's Day, 2000, he married Bonnie Edna Annis. There were two children born to their union. He will be remembered for his near-constant happiness, great smile and contagious laugh. He will also be remembered as a loving and generous person. His weekends were usually spent at the family ranch where he helped with the cattle drives, branding and other honest labors of ranching, and where he would occasionally make time for fly fishing.

In his leisure, he enjoyed cooking shows and barbecue. He especially enjoyed the cherished company of his family.

Survivors include his wife; his daughters, Emily Sage and Rebecca Sue; his mother and stepfather, Sue and Terry Menning; his father and stepmother, Terry and Sheila Fossberg; his brother Wayne Fossberg and his wife; stepsisters, Jessica Menning, Lori Warner and her husband, and Tammy Mann; stepbrothers, Brent Kuhn and his wife, and Jeff Kuhn and his wife; his parents by marriage, Ben and Donna Annis; his brother-in-law, Martin Annis; sisters-in-law, Chrissi Kuhn and Becky Annis; numerous nieces; and a large extended family.
