DECATUR -- Barbara J. Sharp, 64, of Decatur died 1:58 p.m. Monday (March 11, 2002) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurses Association of Decatur.

Mrs. Sharp was born March 16, 1937, in Mount Auburn, the daughter of Cletus and Myrtle Young Clements. She was a seamstress for J.C. Penney for 22 years. She married Floyd Sharp July 24, 1954.

Surviving are her husband; sons, Russell D. of Decatur; Kevin F. of Harristown; Darren E. and wife Corrine of Long Creek; daughters, Debra L. Maple and husband John of Decatur; Denise DuBell and husband Joe of Park City, Mont.; brother, Robert Clements of Riverton; sister, Patty Hunt of Lincoln; two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Floyd; one brother; four sisters; two grandsons.
