Topic: Code of Best Practice (COBP) & Command and Control (C2)

Codes of Best Practice are ideals, advanced to improve the general practice in a particular domain. This Code embraces the domain of analysis studies, particularly those dealing with Command and Control issues. It was created within NATO, originally oriented toward combat analyses and most lately expanded to address Operations Other Than War (OOTW).

Battle Command includes C2 and those areas, such as training, that support it.

• NATO Code of Best Practice (COBP) for Command and Control Assessment: This project involved participating in the NATO SAS-026 Panel to enhance the existing COBP by considering OOTW [external link].

• BC M&S S&T: Participated in project for the US Army Battle Command Simulation & Experimentation (BCSE), G3/5/7, to create Roadmap for Battle Command (BC) Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Science & Technology (S&T).
