85 year-old with enlarging growth on right side of nose.

CT axial soft tissue windows

CT axial bone windows and coronal soft tissue windows

Findings:

Soft tissue mass extending from nasal cavity and ethmoid sinus into nose with bony remodeling

DDX:

squamous cell carcinoma, the minor salivary gland tumour, adenoid cystic carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, melanoma, lymphoma, inverting papilloma, and juvenile nasal angiofibroma (if young male)

Diagnosis:

Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

Discussion:

The radiographic features in this case are relatively nonspecific, but the less aggressive features (lack of frank bony destruction), patient age, and relatively high density on noncontrast CT.
