Tanks Page Two
I
Need A What? Yes, it's another joke tank. I have a fairly weird sense of
humor, I admit that. Our mermaid here seems pretty happy with her fishy friends,
all of whom are named after famous American women. The designs (aside from the
bubbles and that clunky old AZ bike) come from a set of Personal Stamp Exchange
stickers, which I guess were in turn taken from a set of their rubber stamps,
since I have several of those, too.
I Need Those Accessories!

Okay, she's really gone over the edge. This tank was originally called "My Aquarium", and yes, that was deliberate. I'm just too easily amused. The doll in this one is a (we're-not-saying-how-much) younger version of me, and everything in it (even the plants) is a name or nickname various people have used at me. The worst part is, I have still more nicknames. I guess I collect them like some people collect coins. All the fishes are female, for obvious reasons. Ego: My world and welcome to it. The backdrop is an unnamed rainforest creek in the Morse Watershed on the Olympic Peninsula, of northwest Washington State. Our temperate rainforests are some of the most beautiful places on earth.

Rinse Cycle: Brights and Whites These are joke tanks I made. My SO thinks they're one of the most disturbing things I've ever done. Personally, I'm a little disappointed by that. I think I can do better.

Tonight's gemstone is a sapphire,
isn't it lovely? The backdrop is one of the origami papers I have.
I finally got my scanner fixed. It turns out I needed to switch the "lock"
off. Um, oops. Boy, do I feel dumb.
Download the tank, I'm headed out. The angels are a pure strain.
Pink.

Dish. The gravel is here. The discus are stable. Etc.

Delores. The gravel and the gem, a green tourmaline, are available on the accessories page. Sorry there was no tank yesterday. It seems we'll have someone new moving in with us at the end of October, and we're doing a lot of cleaning and clearing out of a room for that. It's a mess, it's a lot of work, it's an adjustment. My big cat, Cypress, is going to kill me. She hates people. Updates might be somewhat sporadic, email probably even moreso. Apologies.

Ocean World. Yeah, yeah. You've already got all the toys in here. The discus are a new, pure strain, though. I was experimenting with the gravel maker. Enjoy the tank.

I'm not sure if I already named a
tank this, I don't think so. (It's a song by MC Hawking.) The gemstone is a
cushion-cut sapphire from Tunduru, and the discus are a pure strain named after
nothing particularly interesting, although I was considering naming them after
things we still have to do before the new housemate moves in in two weeks. (It
seemed depressing.)
Entropy.
