Twin Oaks Bed & Breakfast

We are a gay couple that enjoys travel. When we go to Europe we enjoy meeting our hosts and getting a local perspective on life in the area we are visiting, so we decided to return the favor.

 Scott is a Real Estate agent and Kent is a Band Director at California High School. We have two Cairn terriers and a nice home situated on about .3 acres that is private and gated. We are close to San Francisco and the Wine country and enjoy our summers out on lake Berryessa which is about an hour away. We like to wake-board in the summer and in the winter we snow-board up at Lake Tahoe.

This summer we are staying closer to home and have decided to open up our guest room for new friends from across the world. We hope you will contact us and take the plunge. We are new at the hosting aspect of a B&B, but we know what we enjoyed when we traveled.

There is public transportation available, using CC Connection (bus) and BART (train) to get to San Francisco, but the best way to see our area and get around is by car. The closest airport is OAK (Oakland International) which is about 25 minutes away and is also served by BART. The San Francisco airport is about 55 minutes away by car and is also served by BART which is about 1.5 hours to Walnut Creek which is the station closest to our home.

 If you plan to use the BART train to get to San Francisco, plan on about an hour each way. Once in the city, MUNI offers both metro and bus lines to all areas of the city. If you want to make a side trip up to Napa or Sonoma, the best bet is to hire a car with a driver or rent a car with a designated driver from your party.
