Meeting Location and Competition Topics

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month from September through June at 7:00 PM at the Livonia Civic Park Senior Citizens' Activity Center, on the East side of Farmington Rd. just south of Five Mile Road. Click here for maps.

We will be having a night of workshops on digital image topics to make this year’s competitions easier to enter.

Any subject and technique. This is the only open topic for film subjects this year.

Animals [Digital]

Pets, zoo residents, animals in the wild, etc.

Transportation [Film]

Last year this was a digital topic. Now it is the film users’ turn with anything that moves us from place to place.

Cityscapes [Digital]

Buildings, street scenes, etc. The downtown version of a landscape.

Time [Film]

Convey the passage of time or time measuring devices.

Water [Digital]

A film topic last year. Waterfalls, lakes, rivers, fountains, or different forms of water like ice, fog, etc.

Any subject and technique. This is the only Open digital topic.

Image of the Year.

A special presentation of the top images, both film and digital, from those that have earned 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place or Honorable Mention ribbons in the monthly competitions during the 2011-2012 season.
